Transforming Wisconsin’s Landscape with Water Adventures!
Water isn’t just something in the Wisconsin Dells; it’s EVERYTHING! When GEC was selected for this water adventure project, we knew there would be challenges but also some great opportunities to let our civil engineering expertise shine. The Land of Natura was designed in multi-phases, with currently Phase I being complete. What was unique about Phase I is that 4 acres needed to be excavated for a manmade lake with a natural filtration system. However, what do you do with all of that dirt and rock? Well, to accommodate the lake, a 60+ foot “mountain” was constructed to house slides during the summer months. What’s even better is that the lake is home to the world’s largest inflatable Wibit course – a company that specializes in floating water parks. The land also boasts a sand beach, a building that houses a cafeteria-style restaurant and bar, and a patio area. As the other phases commence, GEC remains committed to continuing its services throughout the processes.
