Portage Country Club Development

On Monday, November 13^th members of the Portage Country Club Board gathered to break ground on the development of five premier residential lots located on the shores of Swan Lake just east of Portage.  Construction of the new private drive to serve the lots is now underway.  The course layout will change slightly but the addition of the new #2 hole will bring a healthy challenge and a beautiful view of the lake.  The new lots will offer tranquil views as well as easy connection to the golf course. Portage Country Club is situated along the scenic shores of Swan Lake offering 18 holes of challenging golf, a clubhouse with an exceptional restaurant and bar, fully stocked pro shop and driving range.  Opened in 1930, the golf course has a traditional layout that is both challenging and playable.  First developed as a 9-hole course eventually growing to a full 18 hole top rated course.  The development of these sought after sites will help ensure the continuation of top quality golf for years to come.
