Portage Water Department Breaks Ground on New Facility

In efforts to create much needed space for the Portage Water Utility department, several business and city representatives gathered to break ground for a new facility yesterday.  Located on the corner of Northridge Drive and Village Road, this new 10,000 square foot facility will provide maintenance space, equipment storage and office space for the department.  Construction is to start week of July 18th and completion is expected to be mid to late December. GEC is providing Building Design and Site Design services.
