GEC Receives Certificate of Appreciation from Portage Family Skate Park
Community Involvement
PORTAGE, WI – The Portage Family Skate Park (PFSP) recently received a $5,000 matching challenge grant from the Tony Hawk Foundation. The PFSP was able to raise the $5,000 challenge amount and received their matching check from the Foundation. General Engineering Company (GEC) President, Jerry Foellmi and Grant & Funding Coordinator, Jessica Fandrich, received a Certificate of Appreciation from the PFSP for donating grant and funding services, including the preparation of the grant application.
The Portage Family Skate Park will be located in Goodyear Park next to the new Splash Pad. General Engineering Company was also instrumental in designing the Splash Pad. For more information on the skate park please visit thePortage Family Skate Park website.
