October, 2011, General Engineering Company’s (GEC) Building Inspection Department is pleased to announce recent additions to its staff, which includes Kristi Robinson and Travis Malueg.

Kristi Robinson joined GEC in September, 2011 as an Administrative Assistant. Kristi is currently working towards an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology from Globe University. Ms. Robinson previously served as an Administrative Assistant at the Wisconsin Division of State Facilities for over two years. During that time, she was able to gain valuable experience in construction and engineering practices. In her spare time, Kristi enjoys crocheting, watching movies, and caring for her pets. |

Travis J. Malueg joined GEC in July, 2011 as a Building Inspector. Malueg earned a degree in Construction Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. He joins the GEC team with over seven years of experience as a Construction Manager. Travis currently resides in Beaver Dam where he enjoys spending his free time with his children. He also enjoys anything in the great outdoors from hunting to camping, and plans to take up golfing next year. |

Eric Barclay joined GEC in March, 2011 as a Staff Engineer. Mr. Barclay received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an Environmental Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Mr. Barclay previously worked with a bridge building firm during his time as an undergraduate. Throughout this time, he was able to be exposed to real-life field experience and learn the processes associated with construction. Eric enjoys spending his free time hunting, camping, and canoeing. |

Zachary Role joined the GEC team after recently receiving his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Mr. Role joined the team in May 2011, as a Staff Civil Engineer. He currently resides in Portage, where he enjoys hunting, fishing, bicycling, and four wheeling. |

Elizabeth Brooks joined GEC in August, 2011 as Executive Assistant/Public Relations Manager. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies with an Emphasis in Interpersonal/Organizational Communications, in May 2011. Ms. Brooks attended Edgewood College located in Madison, Wisconsin. She served as Vice-President on the Edgewood College Communication Club and graduated with high honors. She currently resides in Portage and enjoys kickboxing, traveling, baking, and spending time outdoors. |
