GEC's Building Inspection Division has provided municipal building inspection services since 1998. We currently provide these services on a contract basis for over 140 municipalities in the State of Wisconsin.
Our inspectors are versed in Uniform Dwelling Codes (UDC) and Commercial Construction Codes. We offer complete certifications covering all aspects of building construction, including:

What makes us unique is that we offer specialized expertise in residential and commercial construction. Our Inspection Division has access to structural engineers, architects/designers, master electricians, master plumbers, and environmental inspectors that can provide back-up knowledge and experience on potential complexities that come up routinely in the construction industry. Not only are we large enough to handle all your inspection needs but we are fully qualified in every aspect of residential and commercial construction. There are no downtimes with illnesses or vacations and there are no areas of construction we do not inspect.
Our philosophy is centered on a fair, but firm inspection principle. We are reasonable in our interpretations and work with our contractors and permitees towards code compliance. We take time to educate, rather than dictate.
