Wastewater Collection & Treatment Facility
Dekorra Utility District, Municipal Engineering,
Back in late 1997, a group met at the local McDonalds to brainstorm over a concept that became the Dekorra Utility District. After ten years of concepts, planning, design, approvals, construction, and a multitude of meetings, the Utility District opened its wastewater collection and treatment system for use by the CS/I39 interchange businesses and the two nearby interstate rest areas. The project was jump started by a significant contribution by the Wisconsin DOT. General Engineering Company helped guide the project from concept to completion.
