Wisconsin Dells, 2012
The Ho-Chunk Nation developed this RV Park for visitors traveling to their Gaming Complex outside Wisconsin Dells. The site development included 49 RV campsites with full hook-ups, a dump station, walk and cart paths, and landscaping. The 1,891 square foot building incorporated amenities for the campers such as restrooms with showers, laundry and vending machine areas, a maintenance/mechanical room. The exterior was designed to complement their nearby existing hotel and gaming facility.
The building design also integrated “green technology” by using Sola Tubes for natural lighting, solar collectors on the roof to assist in heating water, occupancy sensing shower fixtures and light fixtures, a waterless urinal and solar-powered sensing faucets.
