Jerry Foellmi, President Emeritus (2000-2017) was the sixth President in the company’s 100 year history. Mr. Foellmi has been with GEC for over 38 years. He is a registered professional engineer in Wisconsin and Michigan. He has been a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers since 1977.
Mr. Foellmi holds a BS degree from UW-Platteville and has nearly 40 years experience in the municipal field with a specific expertise in all facets of wastewater collection and treatment. He has been involved in virtually every wastewater treatment plant design at GEC since 1980. His experience spans to all aspects of the municipal water and wastewater areas of engineering.
Jerry and his family have made Portage their home. He is involved with community and church projects and organizations such as Easter Seals Wisconsin and the Portage Service Clubs Association in his off time.
