PORTAGE, WI – General Engineering Company (GEC) is pleased to announce its most recent staff addition, Forrest Heaney, Architectural Technician.
Forrest Heaney joined GEC in July 2012 as an Architectural Technician. Heaney received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Technology from Madison Area Technical College, where he graduated with high honors and was an active member in the Architectural Technology Club.
While studying at Madison Area Technical College, Heaney collaborated with faculty and students to develop an animated walkthrough of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin, which was later featured at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
“GEC continues to hold the ground for Architectural Services and Building Design, and by adding Heaney to the team, it opens up the door to more opportunities and fresh ideas for our clients,” says GEC Building Design Project Manager, Jason Jackson.
